A few years ago my family built a cabin in west virginia. It belongs to three different parts of my family. I go up there almost every year during hunting season with my dad and one or two of my cousins. There is no electricity so we have to use a generator for anything like television or lights that we want to use but there is always plenty to do without electronics.
It’s a two story cabin in the middle of the woods. There is an outhouse which to say the least is disgusting. There is alot to do there despite there being no electricity. One year I got to shoot a potatoe gun which was made of pvc pipe and a lighter. Almost every day several people get up at about six in the morning to go hunt. I don’t usually hunt anymore because I would rather sleep but the first time I went hunting I shot a doe and we had it for dinner. There are usually a few people that kill a deer which means dinner is taken care of.
One of the most fun things to do is ride the four wheeler or the mule through the woods. Sometimes we ride down to a nearby cabin where some friends of my family stay and hangout there for a while. At night we go walking through the woods which can be kind of creepy, especially with all the stories our relatives tell us to freak us out. There is a fire pit that we use almost every night either to sit at and tell hunting stories or make smores. It is nice to be able to see family that I rarely get to see. In fact, the cabin is the only place I get to see most of them. So basically, the cabin is one of my favorite memories and one of the things I look forward to the most each year.
The cabin in West Virginia sounds like a really adventurous place to go. So do you like riding the four wheeler or the mule the best?

Faith
